  His lectures are amazing, very helpful and clear. Almost the entire class is through McGraw Hill but none of it is too difficult, including the exams. He is always open to answering questions and absolutely wants you to succeed.

  Great Professor really is passionate about what he teaches and is always willing to help students with information. He explained the entire chapter to me even if it took time out of the other class, simply because he cares about our success. Class is a little tough, but if you put in the effort, you will do well.

  I cannot say enough great things about this professor, he truly wants his students to succeed. He has easy to follow notes he takes during class, and 2 homework assignments before every exam which are pretty much the exam. He wants his students to pass and learn the material and he makes his lectures very engaging.

  The best professor I have taken a class with, hands down. A lot of teaching involves discussing with other people, which is great for understanding the material. He also has a bunch of wacky examples for situations that all stick and make perfect sense. Not much reading, just do the assignments properly and you're set. JUST TAKE HIM FOR ECONOMICS!!

  Professor Norander was a passionate professor of managerial economics. Although his assignments were challenging, he did everything in his power to help his students achieve passing grades. He rewarded hard work, such as rounding up my grade from 88% to an A. Overall, he was an outstanding professor, and I highly recommend taking his class.

  Professor Norander has been one of my favorite professors from my time at UNCC. His teaching style is extremely clear, and he provides plenty of examples throughout the lectures and homework assignments that are super helpful for exams. Write down everything he does during the lectures, put forth effort, and you will be golden!

  Norander is an amazing Professor. Organized notes, awesome lectures, great sense of humor, useful analogies to help you learn. I wish I could take someone with this teaching style and skill for every class. Learned so much this semester thanks to Norander. Material can get tough but Norander is always there to help as well as PAL sessions.

  One of the best professors! He explains the material in a way that makes it super easy to understand. I found the examples he gave during class were very helpful in understanding more difficult concepts.   Great professor! Going to class was super beneficial since all notes are done in class. The notes given are great and easy to understand. Grade is mostly made up of exams but you can do good on them by doing practices and following the concept guide he gives you!

  Professor Norander is a great teacher for the first semester of college! Breaks down assignments really well and is super approachable. Flexible and willing to help students out where he can! Gives constructive feed back on papers and just runs class really well in general!

  Dont listen to the few bad reviews, they are from people who are not applying themselves. Economics concepts can be hard to grasp but Norander has a great way of explaining and his lectures are super engaging. Taking time to do the smartbooks is important because tests are heavily weighted. But, he gives you all the resources to do well.

  Professor Norander is an amazing teacher! He is very helpful and always made sure to go over anything we were confused on. He would work with me if I had to miss class and overall a good teacher. Tests weren't too difficult but definitely need to study. Also he does take attendance daily.

  Excellent professor, good at teaching. Tests are weighted heavily, but they are multiple choice. Do the practice HW which is similar to the exams. Recommend going to class to take notes.

  BEST econ professor but go to EVERY class! Macro is not easy but taking notes during the lectures and reviewing them is key to your success. I read the book twice and still made an A. The questions on the test are easy if you understand the content (most math you do in homework assignments is not going to be on the test, so don't overthink it).
